Welcome, I’m Kristin Tate and I’m so glad you found my little spot!
I’m a southern girl from bottom of my feet to the top of my head. Mississippi is my home and the Delta is where our roots are planted. I’ve fallen in love with this place, it’s one of a kind. When you are from the hills and move to the flatlands it’s quite a shocker. But, I’ve adjusted well thanks to the beauty of it all. Watching the cotton bloom for miles is just hard to beat.
My husband Cliff and I have two pretty cool little kids. Xander who is named after my husband is short for Clifford Alexander Tate V. He is an 8 year old boy that is witty and hilarious with a big heart, he loves big.
Meraleigh is our 3 year old little southern belle. My mom was up late one night eating cornbread and milk (together in a bowl, see we are southern) and she came up with her name, I fell in love! Meraleigh is as sweet as honey, she is a girly girl but don’t underestimate her fort building skills. Girl can build!
Sweet Mayze can’t be left out, she is our Catahoula Cur. The most loyal, precious, and protective dog I’ve ever known. She is almost 3, and we all love her, she is family.
I’m passionate, talkative, I love to make people laugh, and I love to laugh.
Give me a good crispy fall afternoon, a cup of coffee with crème brulee creamer and my fancy will be tickled.
Handpicked flowers arranged in a mason jar, pickles on my grilled cheese, and a freshly washed off porch where I can sit and watch my chillins’ play is pretty much all it takes for me, simple things.
I began this this blog after much prayer and a little nudge from a special friend, she is an encourager and I’m thankful for her words. Getting to know God is fun and I hope through my words that you will find common ground and laugh as your way to the truth is discovered.
I’m hopeful while reading my blog that you can come closer to Jesus Christ. He is one who died for you and me and loves you unconditionally. Everyone deserves to know the peace and comfort that only He can give. Please email me with your questions, I can’t wait to hear from you!
Have Zest and Love God!
